Today GNOME 2.9.1 and Java-GNOME 2.9.1 (development versions) were released.
There are many bugfixes mainly (see NEWS file on GNOME FTP server).

“Zenit” from St Petersburg will play with French football team “Lille” today evening in France. This is second tour of group lap of UEFA Cup. “Zenit” gained the upper hand over “AEK” from Greece with score 5:1 last month!
I’d like to wish good luck the football team from St Petersburg and I hope “Zenit” will be winner!

The first release of new web browser which gains more and more popularity is coming soon. Now, second release candidate is available to download and test here.
Firefox developer team ask to test heavily following components:

• site authentication (especially over SSL)
• extension installation via update.mozilla.org and other sites.
• the MacOS X builds, a number of theme changes have been made.
• software update – we’re making another attempt at this.
