Javamania is an aspiration to develop everything on Java. JRuby is one of many exmples of Javamania. It’s a fulminating mix of Java and Ruby. Possibly JRuby can be useful for somebody and it has some features which are not present in Java or Ruby. But one question harasses me: why has nobody port Perl under Java. JPerl sounds nice

2. Strengthen Perl’s tests and coverage.
3. Bring in newcomers to the Perl development process.
