Bike Show 2005

Last Sunday me and Maria went on Bike Show which took place on Kean area. There were many bikers on luxurious “Harleys” and modern bikes, funs and much noise and smoke :).

biker: 1. One who rides a bicycle or a motorbike.
2. A motorcyclist, especially a member of a motorcycle gang.
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language: Fourth Edition. 2000.

Nice girls offered to taste Kean cold coffee. There was a big sceen where translated interesting fragments from bikers life. So, there was funny! Bravo Kean!
Personally, I don’t like motobikes. I like any kinds of cars. That’s why I didn’t take a lot of photos. But here you can see some interesting samples of bike culture.

Problem with SELINUX on FC4

I upgraded my work computer up to Fedora Core 4 two weeks ago. I resolved some problems with PHP5 and SugarCRM (I installed PHP5 from the source) and GNUArch (I installed the latest version of GNUArch from the source). So, it was not so difficult.
But I couldn’t force to work my sound card. I saw it in the list of all PCI devices (lspci). But it didn’t work at all. I made a search in Google and discovered that Fedora Core 4 came enabled SELINUX and it produced the problem with sound card (I guess). So, I switched off SELINUX added selinux=0 in kernel line in the grub config:

- kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb
+ kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 ro root=LABEL=/ rhgb selinux=0

Another way to add SELINUX=disabled into etc/sysconfig/selinux. But I didn’t find this file on my computer.
After that the sound card started work perfect!
Resume: if you know what is SELINUX you are lucky and you don’t have any problem with that! If you don’t know anything about SELINUX, but you want to know here is a short tutorial about using it. If you don’t know anything about SELINUX, you don’t want to study it and you are user of desktop just switch off it!
