Personally, I type in Russian without letters of the keys very slowly. If I’d buy Das Keyboard I’ll spend a day to develop a simple script

You’ll be slow only for about 3-5 days. In about 7 days you’ll type with the same speed. Two weeks later you’ll type three times faster than you do now. In one month you’d be thinking really hard about why didn’t you learn touchtyping earlier. I mean – you’ll have so much free time that you will be thinking about all sorts of stupid things.
