New theme for admin area

I decided to change defaul theme for admin area of my WP blog. After trying two or three different themes I installed WP Tiger theme produced by Steve Smith. It looks very nice (much better than default) and has handy layout. WP Tiger is very simple install. But I faced with a small problem. After unpack and copy plugin folder to the WP plugins I couldn’t find WP Tiger in the list of available plugins. It happened because the permissions of files were wrong. I changed them and now everything is ok!

Unfortunately, it doesn’t work in Opera. Removed.

I use Firefox. So, it’s not a problem for me :)

can you check your admin homepage in validator.w3.org? something tells me it is not even a valid XHTML

It’s not so important for me. The main advantage of WP Tiger is a good usability. Also, W3 validation makes sense mainly for public site area not for administration IMHO.

    P. S. Opera is good. I use it for web surfing. But I’m not sure that Opera is the best example of support of W3 standarts.

Admin area is visible to registered users AFAIK. So you never know what browser your user will be using.
Regarding W3 standards – let me disagree. From my experience Firefox and Opera are the best in supporting them. Are you aware of any browser with better support? Or you just meant Firefox as opposed to Opera? :)
