Yesterday we came back from our four days holiday in London. We had amazing time. Big Ben, The Houses Of Parliament, London Eye, Tower Bridge … We walked by morning London and saw Buckingham palace without crowd surrounded it. The St James park is also amazing in the morning time.
The weather was nice – it was sunny for two days and just a bit raining in the third day of our holiday. We took a bus excursion around city center and boated by Thames. And walked, walked and walked. We’re tired a bit but we got a lot of impressions. Sure, we make a lot of shots. I need a time to process them and upload to web.

Those simple 50 ways can make our Planet cleaner … or at least reduce emission. Additionally, it’d be nice to use dimmers. They make cozy environment and save energy. Another good idea is to put movement detector together with lamp in for closets, laundry rooms, storage space etc. If you have a sprinkler system, connect it with weather station to take into account current temperature and humidify level. The same can be applied to the climate control system. Be smart, use smart devices and systems and save our Planet!

After human polluted the Earth they started think about environment friendly solutions. Here is a good example of Green Office:
Each UV-resistant window pane has a blind so you can work without glare on part of the workspace but still maintain the light and view. Those are Eames Aluminum Group chairs in the original wacky green.
Nice view by the way. But the chars don’t look so comfortable for me.

Funny but a bit sad: TVs become slimmer but human – thicker.

Yesterday a Fring for iPhone was pre-released. It brought VoIP over WiFi and IM functionality to stylish and power Apple’s smartphone. Now all iPhone owners will be able to use Skype, MSN, Google Talk, ICQ, Twitter, Yahoo! & AIM ob their devices.
I use Fring on my Nokia E65 a few months. It’s really nice and useful. Sure, there is a native Gizmo application for S60. But Fring offers much more features.

Good news. The Firefox 3 is gonna be released soon. There is a big list of improvement such reducing of memory usage, increasing of performance etc. In parallel developers are working with mobile version of web browser based on Firefox 3 beta 4 source code. It’s named Fennec. According to tests it 5.9x faster than MicroB which is based on Firefox Alpha 1 (see chart). Sounds good, doesn’t it?
You can try Fennec now. Go to that page and install it. It’ll appear in the Extras category on your N810. Note that Fennec still doesn’t support soft keyboard. So, it isn’t recommended to install it on N800. But on N810 it should work fine.
I’m gonna try Fennec on my N810. It doesn’t replace default browser (as MicroB does). So, it’s a good opportunity to have a fast web browser and help to test it.

Realise of Google’s mobile platform Android is one of the most coming events this year. So, Maemo geeks couldn’t ignore it. Result of their hacks is possibility to run Android on N810 (see the picture above). If you’re interested to have it on your tablet have a look that page from eLinux project wiki. At present time the eLinux.org is down. I suspect that too many Nokia’s Internet Tablet owners want to run Android on their devices. Personally I don’t see any reason to do that (the same as to install KDE on N810) except of spending time for fun. But this is my opinion and you may have different one, of course.
In any case, it’s cool hack and somebody may find it useful.
