It was rainy on Cyprus this week. That’s really good for island in general because we’ll have enough water on Summer. But it’s terrible for drivers.

Last Sunday Maria and I visited Agios Neofytos Monastery. This amazing place is situated near to Pafos by direction to Polis. The monastery was built in the cave and later it was painted by the finest Byzantine frescoes of the 12th and 15th centuries. We took a few photos and you can see them here. But it definitely will be better to visit this place.

Yesterday Maria and I were in the club Pavilion in Nicosia where the DJ number TWO – Armin Van Buuren played his live mix. It was really amazing – the club, the sound, the laser performance, the absolutely crazy people around and, of course, Armin’s mix!
Armin came to Cyprus second time this year. The first time was on 2d June.
So, Armin started his mix at 1:45. There was an another DJ who played really boring and annoying music. But Armin … Armin is the best! So, we had a good time!

Today we watched a DTS – Down Town Special. We found a place near turn where pilots go to second track. It was amazing! Competion of well-known WRC pilots in the old city! We took a few fotos and made four small video clips:

• Loeb’s drift
• Hirvonen’s drift
• Subaru drift
• Amazing Yaris

It was the best stage of the Cyprus rally IMHO! Henning Solberg on his Peugeot 307 WRC gladdened rally fans when he made a 360 degree turn right after start! Peter Solberg drove risky but showy (as usual). I like his style. Sebastien Loeb and Markus Gronholm were careful but they were the best

Today I, Maria and our firend Helen were on the special stage 13 Kellaki – Foinikaria of WRC Cyprus Rally. We came to the stage’s begin one our before start. So, we had a time to find a place with good view. How to describe my feeling? Surge of adrenalin, dust, gulp of clear air, again surge of adrenalin and so on … Solberg drove dangerously but amazinly showy! But … Gronholm is still the best!
I took a few shots. They can impart at least small a part of Cyprus Rally spirit!
Tomorrow we are going to be on Down Town Special. Tickets are already bought!

The independent republic KaZantip opens the embassy in Limassol, Cyprus. The party will take a place at 16th of September in the club Fabrique. One of the most famous Russian DJs DJ Fonar will play his amaizng trance set. Also, you’ll see the fire show from LoveFlame. The dress code is ORANGE. The ticket is 15CYP. Let’s set fire to night!

Last Sunday we went to North Cyprus and met with our friend Evren. He showed us around and made a great excursion for us in Nicosia and Kyrenia. We took few pictures. So, you can see them here.
