The AHI is a new Windows-based UMPC

Averatec

Notebook specialist Averatec is going to release its version of ultra-mobile PC – AHI – this autumn. The AHI is based on Windows XP Home Edition (again!!!!!). It has a keyboard which is hid under a slide-out and a 5-inch 1280 x 1204 touch-sensitive screen. Also, it contains an Intel Celeron M ultra-low voltage processor, 512MB of RAM (minimum), 30GB hard drive, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth (optional), 3G, 2.0-megapixel camera, and an integrated GPS receiver. The Averatec AHI will be priced around $606 – $1,091 and come in black or silver colors.
The AHI has more features than Samsung Q1 but their prices are approximately equal. The biggest Q1 advantage is starting sell on May 🙂
