After installation RT it needs to get right permissions for each user or for specified group. This tip explains how to allow to users change password or modify personal information.
Login in RT as root. Go to Configuration –> Global and then Group Rights or User Rights. Now choose user name or user group and add permission ‘ModifySelf‘. Don’t forget to save your changes.
