Ray
Wicker Park

Four new movies start at the coming weekend: the extraordinary life story of Ray Charles – “Ray”, a drama “Wicker Park” about involved truck between man and woman, a Greek drama “Kalabush” – no work, no money, no love. And finally a French comedy “Les Daltons” which looks strangely in the middle of dramatic movies.
Well, the fancy to cry for a while will be able to do it if they will visit a cinema. Also, the fancy of Greek and French languages have a possibility to watch a original Greek and French movies.
You can find more details on the cinema page or in Cinema RSS channel. Enjoy!

NT
Electra

At once two intersting movies start at the coming weekend: an adventure action “National Treasure” with Nicolas Cage in key role and a thriller “Elektra”.
“National Treasure” is a story about big treasures of US which was hidden by the Founding Fathers and there is an only one way to know the place where are those treasures – to read very carefully the Declaration of Independence! Yea, this is a really hard task for personage of Nicolas Cage!
“Electra” is just another screening of comics about Greek killer woman Electra. I hope this movie is better than “Catwomen“.
You can get detailed cinema schedule online or using RSS channel. Enjoy!

Taxi
Grudge

The live of theatres have revived after celebration of Christmas and New Year. Three new movies have started on this weekend. First of them is an action comedy “Taxi” about an adventure of super taxi driver (it’s a woman!!!) and ne’er-do-well cop.
Second is a horror “The Grudge” of Japanese director Takashi Shimizu. That movie is about murderous ghosts, a curse and others horrors of live in Japan.
The last novelty is “Crimson Rivers 2” which is a sequel of “The Crimson Rivers”. I’ve watched “The Crimson Rivers” once and I was disappoited. I haven’t understand anything! Hope the sequel is much better!
Also, you can still watch “Ocean’s Twelve” (Leonid’s review), “Shall We Dance” and “The Incredibles” (Exler’s review – in Russian).
Enjoy!

Film of the Year – BBC poll

Film of the Year poll results by version of BBC:
1. The Lord Of The Rings: The Return Of The King
I’m agree, this is the excellent movie except for its very overextended final
2. Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind
In my wish list …
3. Finding Neverland
4. Lost In Translation
Profound movie
5. Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban
I was disappointed with that movie.
6. Shaun Of The Dead
7. Hero
8. The Incredibles
I don’t understand why people don’t like animations of “DreamWorks”? “Shrek – 2” and “Shark Tale” are the best animations of the year!
9. Spider-Man 2
In my opinion, just another shallow movie.
10. Collateral
Tom Cruise becomes better with age.

I’d like to add in this top at list four movies: “Troy”, “The Day After Tomorrow”, “Shrek – 2” and “Shark Tale”.
