Find Files Easily with Perl
I’d like to annouce an excellant (as usual) article Find Files Easily written by Perl Guru and Hacker Randal Schwartz on Linux Magazine. Randal dives into linux command find
, explains how to find files in Perl scripts using File::Find and File::Finder and shows why File::Finder is closer to the find
than File::Find.
I highly recomend you spend two minutes to register on Linux Magazine to have access to read that article and more than 1000 others 🙂
Thanks for the compliment on my article. Also keep in mind that all of my articles end up on my website as well (over 240+ of them so far).
No need to register. 🙂

Thanks Randal for your articles and this comment! I am much favoured with this!
But maybe somebody makes me fool because I don’t believe that Randal L. Schwartz left the comment in my blog!
Thanks Leonid for your link. This is a funny stuff 🙂
What’s wrong with Randal leaving a comment on your site? He’s just a human you know. And he probably looks up his name in Google, Technorati, and other places. Like all the rest of us. 🙂
2Leonid:
It’s a little bit strange because not so many people read my blog. but anyway it’s cool that Randal visited it 🙂
Also, do you remember you was surprised when one movie director leave a comment on your post?
People don’t have to read your blog. They can just read a single post. Technorati, Google, and a bunch of other search engines focus around blogs, you know.
Oh, and yes, I was surprised about a movie director (read: non-technical person) visiting my site. Randal, on the other hand, is probably on the short hand with modern technologies. 🙂
Check his IP address and see if it comes from a decent country 🙂
