I use Opera for Internet surfing. I like it more than Firefox because it has a clear and stable tab realization. However, it’s better to do a web development with Fireforx because it has a lot of extensions for this such as Web Development, LiveHTTPHeaders or ColorZilla. Those extension make a life of developers easier. Recently I came across this post on Opera blog. It shows 150 popular Firefox extensions and their analogs in Opera 9. Some of them are released as widgets – a small web applications run directly on a user’s desktop. Also, Opera allows to create a custom buttons for toolbars. For web developers there is a special web developer toolbar similar to Firefox extension. So, it seems Opera is growing very fast and it advances in right direction!
