Wello WordPress!

Once I’ve decided to move my blog to WordPress. It was a little bit difficult to migrate Nucleus posts which contain images. But in spite of everything, I did it and it’s my the firsrt post in WordPress! Congratulate myself 🙂
Well, pictures can be invisible in some old posts. I’ll fix soonest. Also, the rest content of site like Big Screen, Projects and Photo Album still have an old style. I have to find time to modify them. As well as I need to play a little with WordPress administration and customize my blog.
Hope it won’t take a long period 🙂

Loeb + “Citroen” = Winner of Rally Argentina

“Citroen” driver Sebastien Loeb has won Rally Argentina. Before that he won The Cyprus Rally, Rally of Turkey and Acropolis Rally Greece. His the nearest competitor Petter Solberg from “Subaru” team was only third. Bravo Sebastien, bravo “Citroen” and bravo “Michlen”! The next target is Neste Rally Finland which starts 5th August.
I’ve heard that Sebastien Loeb is going to leave “Citroen”team next season and the first team in his list of pretendents is “Ford”! This is a great news. I like “Ford” and I’d like to wish good luck “Ford” team with Loeb or without him!

Sleep: Perl on Java

I see amusing situation in evolution of programming languages. While Perl, PHP and Python try to extend thier functionality to reach Java (key word ‘class’ and ‘extend’ in PHP, for example), Java goes back to level of scripting languages. As exaple, you can see Sleep Scripting Project which is similar to Perl by ideology but based on Java.
Now Java developers can produce some console Java applications easier than before (many bad words were said about Java becase to create a simple programm ‘Hello World!’ a programmer should write more than two rows of code). Have a look an article “Perl on Java? An Introduction to the Sleep Language” which is an introduction in Sleep. Probably, it’ll suit for you 😉
Personally, I don’t like Java and I don’t think that I’ll change my mind 🙂 But who knows…

Madagascar

Madagascar
Last week me and Maria watched latest product of DreamWorks Animation “Madagascar”. After two parts of super animation about green, big and kind orga “Shrek 1” and “Shrek 2”) and nice story about small and funny fish Oscar “Shark Tale” digital magicians produced another funny story about animals from New York zoo. “Madagascar” continues the line of animations which can be interesting for both children and adults and which contains aa big number of gags and parody elements. As in the previos DreamWorks animations, the famous actors recorded sounds there: Ben Stiller (I hate he but in that movie he was perfect!), Chris Rock
 (excellent work as usual), David Schwimmer, Sacha Baron Cohen (Julien is my favorite hero. He is brilliant 🙂 ).
My favorite memorable quote from “Madagascar” is that:

Skipper the Penguin (shakes his subordinate): Don’t give me excuses, give me result!

This is a nice, isn’t this?
So, I’d highly recommend to watch “Madagascar”. It doesn’t matter where you’ll do it: in the cinema or at home on DVD you won’t be disappointed!
